This new iPhone 3.0 beta SDK release is taking the consumer pool by storm. It's released with over 1,000 new APIs as well as 100 new features. IT comes with a set of tools that shows that Apple is taking the iPhone into the corporate market, and there are key areas that Nokia and RIM will need to handle just to stay competitive with has new iPhone.

With the new iPhone 3.0 beta SDK, Apple is positioned to dominate the mobile market in the same manner that they have taken over the MP3 player market. There are tons of gadgets and gear to be had, and this new phone is set to blast through any competition. Nokia and RIM should be very scared.

The iPhone 3.0 beta SDK was launched on March 17, 2009, with all the fanfare and excitement that a true, known winner receives, and Apple will be backing up their release with heavy tech releases as well. Expectations for this release have been high, and they've been more than met.

One of the MP3 accessories that come with the new iPhone 3.0 beta SDK is an updated Cut and Paste feature that has been designed to Apple bloggers taste, as well as the presentation of 100 new features and the APIs.

There is a comprehensive search feature on the drawing board for the iPhone 3.0 beta SDK as well as landscape editing in email mode and other new bells and whistles like an audio editor, push services, Bluetooth-enabled communication and mapping which is pretty cool as far as MP3 accessories go.

Before the release of the iPhone 3.0 beta SDK, Apple had discussed push services to be released back in September 2008. Push Services bypass the multi-processor problem that will allow develops to create apps that need to be open all the time. What this means is that you can't run anything else while you're running that app. Running apps in the background seriously degrades battery life. Push tech is addressed at that problem where it will send your iPhone messages with Yahoo app closed. Still waiting on that one.

Bluetooth communications tech is part of the new accessories pack for the iPhone 3.0 beta SDK. It works through both the 30 pin connector or if you have an iPhone 3G, you can connect to other devices like a blue tooth physical keyboard, communicate with your stereo system or other custom hardware.
